Estoy Nueces

I am dragging this morning with no good reason. I went to bed at midnight and only had two wake-me-up interruptions. Mark called at 1 a.m. and I had a sleepy conversation with him and Nathan wanted OUT at 4:30 this morning. Lots of "sleep" but I'm tired.

Good night at the cafe last night with the music series. Reckless Kelly is great. I hope they make it to the big time or whatever they want. They really worked hard and we had a huge crowd. Certainly one of the four biggest. We can't tell because Cory Morrow stole the restaurant's clicker on Monday night.

I had some great Italian food yesterday and I am still stuffed. Yes, I'm dieting and didn't need any of it, but this was a client and they wanted me to sample ALL that they offer so I can talk about it on the radio. And, Lordy, it was good. We had two appetizers and four entrees between three people. I may not have to eat for days. Sure. Right.

Tomorrow Billy Joe Shaver is going to be my guest on my show. I'm excited. I love his music and his voice and his persona. Such a gentle genius.

I feel like I am incredibly dull on these pages these days. Don't know particularly why. My shows have been good lately, maybe I'm using it all up there.
