Sick sick sick 'scuse me earrrrp
By the time Mark came home from San Antonio that night I was writhing in pain and told him I felt nauseous. It really was a relief to finally throw up a couple of hours later. I felt better, but certainly not good.
I spent the night and the day up and down and up and down. Sunday, Mark left for Houston so I was still on my own. Ate a piece of toast and a glass of flat ginger ale. I knew I could call on neighbors if things got really bad or if I really needed something but it never got that bad.
Today I thought I was much better except for extreme achiness and headache. But by the time I had to go to work I was heading downhill again. Man, I hope this stuff gets out of my system tonight.
On the optimistic, happy side? I saw a number on my scale that I haven't seen in over two, maybe three years. That's worth a couple of days of jello and chicken soup. Not worth the rest though and I would never recommend the food poisoning diet.
