Estoy Nueces

It's already been a busy morning as I've updated my company website and read company emails and organized my company Race for the Cure team. No wonder I'm tired of working by the time I go to the office! I really should do a couple more logs while I'm home and concentrating, too. With the rumors and news about the company selling, I wonder what will happen over the next six months. You'd think with as many changes as I've survived over the last 7 years I would get used to it and stock money away and prepare, but, no, I would have to go take four jobs again if this one tanked now.

I went out last night to see the Rocky Horror show at the Zach with friends. It was fun going out with friends, but so expensive! I guess I'm glad Mark didn't want to go as it would have cost us twice as much if he had gone. A lot of money for just a simple night out. But it was fun and I enjoyed my friend's friends. They were welcoming and funny. The show had bad audio, but was interesting to see how they made it into a play from the movie. I still prefer the movie.

Other than that, it is just taking it one day at a time as we get ready for Daddy's surgery. Poor Dad, I can't imagine what he must feel like, dreading this surgery and recovery. It will not be easy.
