Estoy Nueces

I'm improving. Mary Tyler Moore (well, really Mary Richards) said, "Three days coming, three days with you, three days going." Today should be my last day. I'm still coughing (with the help of Mucinex) and sneezing, but feeling okay.

Last night I went to the grocery and came home and made Anasazi Soup and a taquito casserole. Still groceries to put away or find a home for that I will need next week. None of the "real" food is bought yet -- turkey and such. Just cans. I keep reading how to get ahead of the rush by freezing things, but that would require freezer space I don't have. Tonight I might just sacrifice some freezer items. The pecans and peanuts can come out because I can use them or just put them back after the holiday.

Laid around all weekend feeling puny. Didn't even feel like genealogy or anything. I guess I watched the Cowboys win. It is all a blur.

Back to work yesterday and more worry about the NC grill. We MAY talk to them this week. I need to get their program out to them next week I think. Oh well. This morning I need to be there early to talk to the casino that is back at the table. Now it sounds like they really want strictly Top 40 with rap and the whole bit. I can give that to them if that's what they really want. But yuck. Not what I like to put together unless they don't care about clean versions.

I did do something over the weekend. I got my office the tiniest bit cleaner by getting Mamma's radio chest put into the closet instead of blocking the bookcase. That was a major step. The floor there is clear now. The housekeeper comes tomorrow so she can vacuum this room. A little more to do tonight. Some boxes of junk can go to the car or garage.

I would love to sit here all morning and I could do it, too, except for this dang phone meeting. Not a fan.
