Easy as Sunday morning

This has been a really nice day. I wish I could have another 8 hours at the end of it, but all in all, a nice day.

I didn't have to drag myself out of bed. I woke up naturally at 10:30 (yes, that is early) and got up and got to work.

Some momentary disappoint to find the Cowboy game was at three instead of noon, but I probably got more accomplished that way. Washed the dishes, picked up the newspapers and vacuumed. Tasks that sound like they could be done quickly but it sure takes forever.

Found a Christmas present on my doorstep today! How fun! The mailman left it yesterday but I hadn't found it. It was from my best friend B! in Hawaii. It was a cool sand candle made with Maui sand (the brown kind, not the coolest black stuff) and a cute journal with "My Good Days" on one side and "My Not So Good Days" on the other. I'll try to do my whining in it and not here.

D-boy got back from Dallas this afternoon and I was very glad to see him. I even cooked for him tonight. Okay, I boiled some pasta and put sauce on it. No salad, no bread. These days that counts for cooking.

I need to do some stuff on the computer for work. Just word processing stuff but I keep putting it off. It's like the old adage: If I had two hours to cut down a tree I'd spend an hour sharpening my axe. I think that was how it went. One of the million phrases I learned working for Zig Ziglar. Anyway, the point it, this week is going to be fast and furious and I've got to get a lot of work done. If I will do these few simple things on the computer at home I will work much better tomorrow. So I'll get to it...
